ABOUT US
What is Our Mission?
GCNTB is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in our community.
The Guyanese Cultural Network of Tampa Bay (GCNTB Inc.) is a charitable, nonprofit, and nonpolitical network of excellence officially established in July 2007. However, we began our work back in 2005 with a small group of dedicated members. Our mission is to assist in the improvement of quality of life for Guyanese-Americans, at home and abroad.
Organization history
2005 – GCNTB is founded by Mrs. Joy and Mr. Egerton Anderson to provide an opportunity for Guyanese to network.
2007 – The Network is officially incorporated as a nonprofit organization and gains tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3).
2010 – GCNTB becomes a sponsor of the Paint Your Heart Out
program in Tampa. Our volunteers paint the homes of low-income, elderly
citizens in our community.
